Magnificat sketches and fine art meditations

A series of daily sketches and fine art meditations from a 30 day study on the Biblical passage from Luke, "The Song of Mary," by Rebecca Dawn Brighton.

In connection with the start of the Advent Season, the artist invites you to engage in her process of meditation and contemplation.

Displayed in New College's Sanctuary, come find a quiet refuge during the holiday season to reflect on the poetic praise of Mary, Mother of God.

The artist will be present throughout the exhibition, along with materials to lead the viewers through the process of lectio devina and artistic reflection.
