The aim: to inform, enthuse and engage an audience of lay and academic judges about your research. Panel of judges Judges for the School heat are: Head of School Professor Helen Bond, Director of Postgraduate Studies Professor Brian Stanley, Director of Research Dr Steven Sutcliffe, Director of Knowledge Exchange and Outreach Dr James Eglinton, School Communications Officer Heather Walker. Why take part? The University of Edinburgh has run a 3MT competition every year since 2013. Former winner Chris West has said: “I can honestly say that throughout the whole my PhD, the 3 Minute Thesis is the one thing that stands out, as being the most fun, that I have learnt the most from, that I will remember most. The skills that I have learned from it will be the ones I will take forward into my future.” Register your interest by 10 March Please email Hannah Holtschneider by 10 March 2019.
