Religion and Literature

Engage in the interdisciplinary study of the interaction between religion and literature across various religious traditions, sacred texts and literary genres.

Research profile

Explore literary and religious texts and ideas, including the history of the emerging field as well as current issues in both areas of study and in their interaction. There is excellent library provision available to students, and the School’s Scottish Network for Religion and Literature runs events throughout the year to promote discussion and research in the field.
