This year's competition has closed, keep an eye out for next year's edition of the competition.

Are you interested in belief systems, rituals, mythology, iconography, practices and ethics and the integral part they play in human culture? Then tell us about it in our School of Divinity Video Competition.

'How can studying religion help us understand our world and each other?'

We want you to address the above questions in a video of no more than three minutes in length. You can record the video on your own or with your friends, on a phone or with a camera.  Don’t worry about the production quality, it’s the content that matters.

The world needs people who are good at thinking about religion

It runs through nearly every vein of our society.  So tell us why it’s so important to study religion.  How does it help us understand our world? And what can this understanding bring?  Think about why you study religion and what makes you passionate about it.

Enter our competition three-minute video competition

And tell us why religion makes such a difference across the globe. There are prizes of £100, £50, and £20 in vouchers for first, second and third place.  We are looking for entrants who address the question in the most creative and original way!
