THE ST JOHN'S THEOLOGY SYMPOSIUM - (a joint event with Edinburgh University School of Divinity and the Centre for Theology and Public Issues)

A two-part exploration of the doctrine of the Holy Trinity . Two illustrated lectures, discussion, and lunch reception on Saturday 26 September 10am to 4pm at St John's Episcopal Church, Princes Street, Edinburgh.  

NOT THREE GODS : WHY WE BELIEVE IN THE HOLY TRINITY AND HOW IT CHANGES US.

A two-part exploration of the doctrine of the Holy Trinity :

  • Love demands the Trinity, Scripture, History and Dogmatics;
  • The Trinity Changes Us, Sacraments, Society and the Inadequacy of Modern Theology.

Two illustrated lectures, discussion, and lunch with wine (or soft drinks) at St John’s led by Professor Lewis Ayres of Durham University.
