Undergraduate Student Life

When you join the School of Divinity, you become a part of our community. Time and again, students highlight our community as a key reason the School is a wonderful place to study

At New College we try our best to make you feel part of our community and integrate you into life here. When you join the School, at the start of the academic year, you will be invited to Welcome Week.  This introductory week gives you the chance to orientate yourself, meet fellow students and join in with many fun activities.

Our undergraduate community benefits from monthly coffee mornings with fellow students. We also run weekly games sessions and crafternoons.

The School has great facilities for students including a brand new tea prep area, a social/study space and a cafe open during the teaching semester.

Clubs and Societies

Every September, we host a Welcome Week activities fair, showcasing the many clubs and societies you can join as a student at New College. This year, we also interviewed some groups to learn about what they do and how you can get involved in our community.

Advice from our staff

We asked our members of staff what their one piece of advice would be as you start your journey with us. This is what they had to say.
