Visit us

Find out about our facilities and arrange a visit.

The School of Divinity is housed in the historic New College building near Edinburgh Castle, situated right in the city centre. It overlooks Princes Street and the Scottish National Gallery and connects to the Royal Mile.

Open Days and tours

Our Open Days allow you to see the campus and its facilities, attend subject information talks and general student information sessions, and meet current students and academic staff. These are organised a number of times throughout the year, so check the link below for the currently scheduled dates and book your place.

If you are unable to make it to one of our open days please check out this introductory session about studying at the School.

Student-led tours

If you can’t make our Open Days, you can join a student-led campus tour. These are organised each week throughout the year.

Self-guided visits

If you prefer to make your own arrangements, you can make use of a range of leaflets produced by the University to help you make the most of your visit to Edinburgh at any time.

Offer-holder days

If you have applied for a place on an undergraduate degree programme and have been made an offer, you will be invited to an Offer Holder Day when you will have the chance to meet our staff and students and hear in more detail what it will be like to study in our School in the heart of this historic city and to see more of the University’s facilities and resources.
