New College 175th Anniversary Opening Service As you may already know, this is a very special year for New College. 2021 marks the 175th Anniversary of Thomas Chalmers laying the foundation stone for New College in 1846. We marked the start of this anniversary year with a special service - the first of a series of special events that will run throughout 2021.
