Information sessions for new and existing postgraduate students. The School of Divinity will run a number of information sessions in the coming weeks. A session for current taught and research Masters students who are considering applying for a PhD place next year will take place 24 October 2018, with a parallel session for undergraduates thinking of progressing to Masters taking place soon after, and a full open day for all potential postgraduates, 14 November 2018. Potential PhD applicants The event for existing students who are thinking about applying for a PhD is Wednesday 24 October, 1-1.50 pm in the Althaus-Reid Room. Come along to find out how to apply and about scholarship opportunities. The School is one of the UK's largest providers of PhD supervision in theology and religion in a diverse range of research areas. Masters degrees An information session for existing final-year Honours students who may be thinking about applying for a Masters programme is Monday 19 November, 1-2 pm in the Senate Room. The School offers of postgraduate taught Masters degrees in: Biblical Studies Religious Studies Theology in History World Christianity Science and Religion The Masters by Research is a one-year MTh or MSc research degree. The School also offers a two-year Master of Philosophy degree. Postgraduate Open Day All potential postgraduate students will be welcome to attend the Postgraduate Open Day Wednesday 14 November 2018.
