PhD student appointed at Universidad Iberoamericana (IBERO)

School of Divinity PhD student Mireia Vidal i Quintero has been appointed as a Professor of Bible (New Testament) at the Universidad Iberoamericana (IBERO).

Mireia (Mia) Vidal i Quintero is a PhD student with us at the School of Divinity who has currently finished her studies with us in New Testament and Christian Origins. She started at New College back in 2018, where she began working on her thesis 'The Empty Tomb Tradition. Its Origins and Early Development in Light of Ritual Lamentation and Cultural Trauma Theory' under supervision of Professor Helen Bond and Dr Suzanna Millar. Flash forward to 2024 and Mia is now completed her final year and will be graduating from the school in July where she will then move on to her position as a Professor of Bible (New Testament) at the Universidad Iberoamericana (IBERO).
