The Edinburgh Peace Initiative Inaugural Symposium will discuss the latest initiatives proposed by civil society and faith-based groups in the City of Edinburgh. Earlier in the year the former Lord Provost of Edinburgh, Rev Dr George Grubb, was instrumental, with the United Nations Association Scotland and Edinburgh Interfaith Association (EIFA), in establishing concrete connections between over 35 civil society and faith based groups in the City of Edinburgh. The resulting discussions have led to a number of Initiatives, including this Conference.
