The Istanbul Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women - what is it and why is it needed?

With Dr Eilidh Whiteford MP, who has sponsored a Private Members Bill calling on the UK Government to ratify the Convention.  Faith leaders and communities are being invited to support a Public Call in support of ratification. Eilidh will outline why the Convention is so important as a framework for positive change, in Britain and around the world.
